In the spring of 2005, a small group of seminarians made pilgrimage to the seven Johannine Churches of Asia Minor, as referenced by John the Apostle in the Book of Revelation. We spent a week, following Easter, to visit the great cities of Ephesus, Nicea, Constantinople, Smyrna, and many others.
Just after Christmas in 2006, a group of about twenty-five seminarians made pilgrimage and retreat amid the hillsides of Galilee and within the walls of Jerusalem. What a joy to walk where Jesus walked, to breathe the air, to put our hands on the relic stones that mark the sites spoken of in the Gospel each day at Mass.
